Junaid Farooq
He received B.Tech in Electrical Engineering and M.Tech in Electrical Power & Energy Systems in 2015 and 2019, respectively, from NIT Srinagar. He joined the PhD program in December 2019. His research interests include Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, NLP, CV, and Large Language Modeling. His PhD thesis is titled "Breaking Barriers in Forecasting: A Hybrid Deep Learning Approach to Spatiotemporal Dynamics"

Dr. Danish Rafiq
He received his Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Islamic University of Science and Technology in 2016. Then, he worked as an intern at DIC, Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), Awantipora, India, on the design and attitude stabilization of unmanned air vehicles such as Quadcopter and the design and development of a sensory wristband to attenuate the communication divide between children with hearing disabilities and caregivers. He joined the Ph.D. program at NIT Srinagar in September 2017 and completed it in 2022. His research interests include Control and System's Theory, Dimension reduction of large-scale Nonlinear Partial Differential Equations, Finite-Elements and Finite-Difference Methods, Nonlinear Model Order Reduction, and its applications.
In November 2022, he was selected by SERB (Department of Science & Technology, Government of India) for the award for SERB-National Post Doctoral Fellowship (N-PDF). Since then, he is a post-doctoral fellow at IUST.
